Why we do what we do....
Invictus Academics was born out of necessity. Today's students are not the same as those from years ago. Advances in technology, the decline of the family unit, and the ever-changing structure of the education model has left many students with wide gaps in skills and knowledge. In turn, this has led many students to believe that they just can't succeed in school. We know that this is far from the truth.
Our philosophy is to teach "Real World" learning by providing examples of the practical application of knowledge and skills prior to introducing them to the students. When a student understands the use for the knowledge, they are more open to learning. We have had excellent results with students who were mentally defeated. We teach every learner that they can be successful in school, their job, and life. This is the "invictus" spirit!
Invictus Academics inspires academic excellence through the use of innovative teaching strategies that combine newly learned skills and knowledge with practical applications for college and career readiness. We serve all in the community who aspire to strengthen their academic skills which will lead to improved opportunities for continuing education or career advancement.
